We’ve been mortgage brokers since the turn of the century. But together we set out to put things right in the Buy to Let market, scaling and specialising the business across the UK.
Pushing the fast forward button eight years, with hundreds of very happy and valued clients plus a tangible haul of national awards and accolades later, we’re still striving to do more and so are the fantastic team we have here. Steadily growing over the years, The Buy to Let Broker has multiplied its numbers with incredible talent from the four corners of the kingdom and is now a vibrant team of 20 mortgage specialists with honest human advice at its beating heart.
We’ll make no bones about it, nowadays it’s a hell of a lot more complex than it was back when the business was started. No-one could have possibly predicted the ruckus that the last few years have brought; heavy tax changes, stamp duty increases, portfolio lending rules and tough stress test changes.

Well first of all we make sure your case fits the criteria. We don’t chance applications in the blind hope they progress! We’ll double check with a pre-underwrite. In terms of due diligence before your application is submitted to a lender, if we feel that your application is marginally outside of criteria, we’ll sell the case to the lender, and do all we can to gain a policy exception, it saves you money, time and the chance of decline – because no one likes dead-ends.
