Official Charity Work
As a company, we want to do all was can to give back and help make the world a little nicer and that not only applies to the realm of Buy to Let. With a team of over 25 dedicated and passionate people, we regularly take on charity challenges to help those who need it.
Here’s what we have been up…
Going BIG in 2022!
Kicking off a new year, the team were eager to get back at it, supporting fantastic charities that we all love. The team had so many amazing charities they are passionate about, we’ve decided to support three charities this year! Nominated by the team themselves, we are ultra proud to announce that Great Ormond Street Hospital charity, CLAPA charity and Macmillian Cancer Support will be our official charities of 2022!
Never afraid of a good challenge and with three charities to support, we thought it only fitting that we take on not one but three challenges – Triathalon style! All donations will be pooled and at the end of the challenge, the money will be distributed evenly to each charity.
So what are we going to actually do we hear you ask?
First up, we are going all out with a row…well an indoor row. Over the next few weeks, the team will be virtually rowing the length and breadth of the UK, all the way from John O’ Groats to Land’s End – that’s over 874 miles!
Not satisfied with just that, after smashing this first target, the team plan to take on a mighty hike, then polish off the challenge with a long-distance cycle challenge – full details on this and how you can show your support to be revealed very soon.

Previous Charity Challenges
After a challenging year for so many, in December 2021 we wanted to do something extra special, so instead of the usual Christmas cards and gifts that many send out, we have decided to give back to those who are truly in need.
Supporting disadvantaged children across the UK, children’s charity Kids Out work miracles to bring a touch of joy to over 25,000 vulnerable children.
To show our support for their amazing work, we made a sincere donation of over £1700 to the charity on behalf of all our clients and the team also personally donated toys, vouchers and a whole heap of gifts for the children to enjoy.
In 2019, the team took on the mighty challenge of raising £3,000 for local heart screening charity Vital Signs Foundation with a mammoth UK challenge that saw us virtually running to some of the UK’s biggest Mortgage Lenders.
As a true whole of market broker, we work closely with over 50 of the UK’s biggest mortgage lenders on a daily basis, so for our first ever official charity challenge, the team decided to walk and cycle 1000 miles to circumvent the UK to virtually visit over 16 of our top partners.
The whole Buy to Let Broker team took the challenge in their stride and really stepped up to the plate, plus there were some special guests along the way. We have to say a big thank you to all of the lenders including Paragon, Zephyr Home Loans, Santander, Foundation Home Loans, Masthaven, Precise Mortgages, Landbay, Barclays, BM Solutions and The Mortgage Lender that helped us smash our 1000 mile target.
Not only did we hit our running target, the team successfully raised the £3,000 needed to fully fund a VSF screening session and on the 18th January over 95 young people between the ages of 16-35, including some members of the team, received blood pressure tests, heart scans as well as life-saving education in CPR and defibrillators.
It was a brilliant day all-round and we are over the moon to support such an incredible charity. Shockingly 12 young people die every week due to an undiagnosed heart condition, so the work that VSF do really does save lives.
