Our Fees Explained

At the Buy to Let Broker, your initial mortgage consultation is free of charge and without obligation.

For complete transparency, you will receive a key facts illustration when considering a particular mortgage, which will tell you about any fees relating to it. We will also discuss and agree any fee with you, prior to submitting any mortgage application.

Below is a list of our standard fees, however we know that we may not charge you a fee or may agree a reduced fee as we quote each case based on the individual needs of the case and complexity.

We will retain commission from the lender.

Non-Regulated

Purchases

For clients with a clean credit record, looking to purchase an investment property, a fee of £550 will be payable on Offer.
For portfolio landlords with a clean credit record, looking to purchase an investment property, a fee of £660 will be payable on Offer.
For limited company landlords looking to purchase an investment property, or a portfolio of investment properties, a fee of £650 will be payable on Offer.
For landlords who have a poor history of managing their credit and are looking to purchase an investment property, a fee of £750 will be payable on Offer.
For landlords looking to purchase a multi-unit block (MUB) or home of multiple occupation (HMO), a fee of £650 will be payable on Offer.
For landlords who have a complex borrowing requirement and are looking to purchase an investment property, a fee of £750 will be payable on Offer.

Remortgages & Product Transfers

For clients with a clean credit record, looking to remortgage their investment property, a fee of £550 will be payable on Offer.
For portfolio landlords with a clean credit record, looking to remortgage one or all of their property portfolio, a fee of £650 will be payable on Offer.
For limited company Landlords looking to remortgage an individual investment property or a portfolio of investment properties, a fee of £650 will be payable on Offer.
For landlords who have a poor history of managing their credit and are looking to remortgage their investment property, a fee of £750 will be payable on Offer.
For landlords who have a complex borrowing requirement and are looking to remortgage their investment property, or a portfolio of investment properties, a fee of £750 will be payable on Offer.
For landlords looking to take advantage of a new rate they have been offered by their current lender, a fee of £250 will be payable on Offer.

If we charge you a fee, and your mortgage does not go ahead, you will not be eligible for a refund.
