New Lockdown Rules For Holiday Let Landlords
Following Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s latest Coronavirus announcement (on 23 June), hotels, self-catering apartments and holiday lets will now be able to re-open in England from the 4th July.
Along with this, new guidance will be issued to assist Holiday Let landlords with ensuring that social distancing measures can be met and shared facilities can be kept clean for all guests.
In Northern Ireland, self-catering holiday accommodation will be allowed to reopen from 26 June, with hotels re-opening on 3 July.
No decision has currently been made for properties in Wales but an announcement is expected on 9 July, with 13 July forecasted as the re-opening date.
Likewise, the Scottish government is still to announce but 15 July is the suggested date for report all hotel tourist accommodation to re-open. The decision is scheduled for 9 July.
